Product Description. EVERBUILD Mammoth Powerful Grip Tape is a polyester fabric re-enforced double-sided tape with an effective synthetic rubber/resin adhesive designed for bonding almost any material to themselves or each other. Powerful Grip tape has incredibly high bond strength, can be used indoor and outside and is totally weather resistant when applied.
Advantages. Will stick to ceramics, wood, glass, plastics, masonry, PVC etc . Weatherproof. Strong initial bond strength. Will stick to porous and non porous surfaces.
Limitations. Do not use on surfaces that bleed oils or plasticiser. Do not use in areas subject to high temperature. It is the users obligation to identify suitability for use. If in doubt get in touch with technical services for advice.
Application. Ensure surfaces to which tape is to be put on are tidy sound and dry. Non porous surfaces i.e. ceramic tiles, PVC, steel etc must be de-greased with white spirits and permitted to dry before application. Remove outer packaging from roll of tape. Peel required amount of tape from roll pressing firmly into place while unrolling. Carefully peel off backing paper from tape. Push item to be bonded securely into place with even pressure. A secure bond will be formed immediately however full bond toughness will be accomplished after 48 hours.
